News for Actors!

Spring is finally in the air, which means we’re heading towards the busier season for artists here in Australia. US production often increases because of their differing tax year and December and January are always busy with TVC’s.
We saw plenty of work for stage performers this month, and we were delighted to see lots of new casting consultants using our site to send out work!
Thanks for reading and have a great month.
Plenty of theatre work lately!
We’re excited here at AT2 to see that we’re averaging one or two new casting professionals signing up every week to our system, to send briefs through to agents or freelance artists, or to search for the actors, models and kids that they need.
This month we counted five new casting consultants who used the site for the first time to send out briefs!
In other casting news, it seemed there was more work than usual for stage artists this month, with roles in Opera Australia’s South Pacific, the Australian tour of A Chorus Line (the longest-running Broadway show ever) and continued casting in the sequel to Phantom of the Opera,Love Never Dies.
We also saw supporting roles in the Spielberg series, Terra Nova, several corporate and promotional DVD’s and over 70 roles in TVC’s for everything from Subway to Panasonic.

Tickets to The Hunter
From the producers of Animal Kingdom, The Hunter is a powerful psychological drama that tells the story of Martin (Willem Dafoe), a mercenary sent from Europe by a mysterious biotech company to the Tasmanian wilderness on a dramatic hunt for the last Tasmanian Tiger.
The Hunter stars Academy Award nominee Willem Dafoe, Frances O’Connor and Sam Neill.
Thanks to Madman Entertainment we’ve got double passes to give away.
